Hi Folks,
I recently spoke briefly with the new general manager of Lifetime South about what current squash activities we have at the club, and what we would like to add. He asked me to put together a kind of plan for him to take a look at. I’ll be doing that this week and would like to give an idea of what I’ll be presenting, and have your feedback on it.

Background
The game of squash has been played in the city of Austin since the '60s at courts located on the University of Texas campus. In late 2007, Lifetime Fitness introduced two health and fitness clubs to the Austin area, one in the South and one in the North, with both facilities offering two squash courts for member play. These are currently the only squash courts in the Austin area, other than those on the University of Texas campus. Overview
Thanks to great support by LTF squash playing members, the club team league for Spring 2018 was enjoyed by all participants. Limiting play to just the LTF South Austin club facility, and introducing a new match format — best-of-three matches instead of best of five — encouraged twenty-eight members to participate, including some first-timers. |
